At the Elite Dancers Academy, we are thrilled to unveil the next chapter in our early years ballet programme: Little Robins Baby Ballet and Demi Doves Toddler Ballet. These beautifully designed classes will replace our much-loved Little Rubies and Melody Bear sessions, keeping everything you already know and love, while bringing a fresh identity and structure to the very first steps of a child’s ballet journey.
18 months to 2.5 years
From the moment your little one can walk and follow simple instructions, they can join our Little Robins class. Think of it as a parental pas de deux: a shared experience for you and your child as you explore the joy of music and movement together.
With balancing, twirling, and tiptoeing, Little Robins offers a gentle introduction to the structure of a ballet class, with your support close by. And for any parents who might feel a little nervous, rest assured, the spotlight is always on the children, and no dancing is required from grown-ups!
2.5 years to 4 years
When your child is ready for their solo, Demi Doves is the perfect next step. This independent class is designed for toddlers who are confident enough to take part without a parent or carer in the studio.
Blending imaginative storytelling with basic technique, Demi Doves helps children develop coordination, rhythm, and independence, while beginning to take their very first steps towards Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) ballet grades. It’s a magical bridge between imaginative movement and structured ballet training.

We’re proud to be working closely with Miss Alice from our Wimbledon and Chiswick venue and Miss Jess from our Streatham and Southfields venue to create and formalise the structure of these pre-RAD ballet classes. Both ladies have built extremely popular baby and toddler classes in their respective venues and bring years of experience in training ballet dancers from 18 months to 18 years old. Principal, Miss Yasmin, is working closely with both senior ballet teachers to ensure that both Little Robins and Demi Doves are engaging, age-appropriate, and built on strong ballet foundations.

While Little Robins and Demi Doves replace our former Little Rubies and Melody Bear sessions, families can expect the same warmth, fun, and nurturing environment that has made these classes so popular across our Wimbledon, Chiswick, Streatham, and Southfields locations. The new names and structure simply reflect our ongoing commitment to helping children grow with confidence as part of their Elite journey.
